Credit card scams and cam shows?

Hi, I was just contacted by a girl on a social networking site and she started off about giving me a live cam show and everything.. I knew the whole thing was a scam.. but I was bored and started to play along.

She directed me to some site and told me to fill out some form. I said I don’t have a credit card, then she offered hers……… (this is what surprised me…)

What is going on here??? I tried entering her details and the card was rejected.. then she started giving me loads of credit card numbers, I just dont know what she was playing at… and I just stopped everything..

Can anyone please tell me more about these kind of scams? and where do they get so many credit card numbers? is there an online credit card number generator software? (i think there is).

Just curious about one more thing, which happens in the world around us…….

Thank you

The best thing to do is to avoid nonsense like this.

There is no “girl” — these scams are mainly run by the Russian mafia and all of those credit card numbers are stolen. They want YOU to enter them and you will get caught. When the real person whose card it is discovers an unauthorised charge and they investigate, they can do an IP lookup to find that YOU were the one who entered the card on the site that charged them up

DO NOT ever go to some site and enter a credit card number – you are guilty of bank fraud for even entering these in some website if they card does not belong to you. It doesn’t matter if the car doesn’t work or not – you are committing fraud by entering card details that do not belong to you
